Upon completion of the baseline greenhouse gas emissions inventory for calendar year 2007, with the support of ICLEI, The Fayetteville ICLEI Task Force will begin to draft a Local Climate Action Plan. With the assistance of ICLEI’s Clear Air Climate Protection software the Task Force will outline actions the community of Fayetteville (residential, commercial, and local government) can take to reach our target reduction of greenhouse gas emissions which will be set at upcoming meetings.
This process will only be successful through the collaboration of many facets of the community including local government, citizen volunteers, business leaders, and local community organizations.
