Apple iPad – Green?
Everyone’s a buzz about Apple’s recent unveiling of the iPad. The Apple iPad is a portable table-type device that allows you to surf the web, use email, store photos, watch video, listen to music, read books, view maps, schedule and add productivity and entertainment applications from the huge selection offered in the Apple Apps Store.
According to Apple, the iPad is more environmentally friendly as well. It has been designed with the following features to reduce environmental impact:
- Arsenic-free display glass
- Free of Brominated flame retardants
- Mercury-free LCD display
- PVC-free
- Recyclable aluminum and glass enclosure
