Shopping Bags While shopping, if you only buy a few products skip the shopping bag. For larger purchases, bring your own. Learn about the dangers of plastic bags and what countries around world are doing about it.

Avoid Creating Trash Avoid disposable products, such as plates, cups, napkins and cutlery. Use reusable towels and dishwashing cloths in place of paper towels and disposable dish sponges.

Repairing, sharing, and recycling Repair appliances and furniture instead of throwing them out.  It is usually less expensive.  Donate reusable clothes, toys and other items to charity.  Make old clothing new by remodeling in some way, or make rags out of them.
